Description Luc 2016-10-17 18:02:15 UTC
The regular keys for opening the menu (Alt; F10; Shift+F10; context menu key) do not work from the startup screen. The only way to open the menu appears to be using the mouse. Now I'm not visually impaired (but it would also be nice for the people who are) but I'd still like to be able to use the keyboard for this.

When viewing a document, F10 seems to work. Also, Alt is often the expected key for focusing the main menu of an application (usually File, Edit, etc.) so that might be nice to add as well.

When there is no document, there is no menu. Only a button to get the Open File dialog.

May you clarify?

Thanks for the quick response!

You're right, the menu that F10 opens when viewing a document is different from the menu I meant. I hadn't noticed that yet: there are two menus.

This is the button/menu I mean: https://snag.gy/GjHtd0.jpg

The Open File button (next to it) is less of an issue because the dialog can be triggered with Ctrl+O (and I seem to be able to use Tab to focus that button as well).
