Description Christian Stadelmann 2016-09-28 19:52:29 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. open evolution composer window
2. drag any file (not image, see below) into it

What happens:
Evolution adds a URL, e.g. file:///path/to/file.mp3

What should happen:
Evolution should attach the file. I think this was the default behavior until 3.20.

Additional info:
This issue might be a fallout from porting to WebKit2.
This may or may not be related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=753703 (images drag-and-drop handling)
Comment 1 Tomas Popela 2016-09-29 06:50:28 UTC
This is definitely a fallout of WebKit2 port. I didn't gave the DnD any higher priority during the development, but I'm aware of the issue.
