Description Christian Stadelmann 2016-09-03 12:43:16 UTC
The housekeeping plugin handles the case that disks are full, which is a pretty neat feature. Similarly, it would be useful to detect if RAM is full and tell the user to close applications or buy more RAM. This would include:

* detect if RAM is full and tell the user to close applications or he/she will see a drop in performance

* detect if RAM + swap is full and tell the user to close applications or he/she will see processes being killed

* detect when the linux kernel OOM killer ran and explain it to the user: Tell the user that application xyz was just killed because there is no more RAM free
