GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 770595
mkv subtitles support
Last modified: 2018-05-22 12:57:48 UTC
When I have a video file with a .srt file with the same name next to it shared by rygel, I can view the video with subtitles on the "client" device (such as BubbleUPnP and a Chromecast), but when it's an mkv file with built-in subtitles, rygel doesn't share the subtitles with the video. It would be nice if rygel would support subtitles embedded in mkv files.
What do you expect rygel to do there?
The exact same thing it does when there's an srt file present, so I can watch my videos with their embedded subtitles.
