GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 766395
Wrong page setup using landscape format
Last modified: 2018-05-22 14:25:30 UTC
Created attachment 327821 [details] Two screenshots showing the bug (OpenOffice Writer file) Using 'page setup' for landscape mode the header and footer setup is wrong! That means: the setup for the header margin is shown as footer margin and the footer margin is shown as header margin in the print preview window (see the attached screenshots). The printed page is also wrong and shows the same wrong layout! I'm using Fedora 23 with GTK+ 3.18.9 Please correct this bug. Dieter
I cannot replicate this. Would you be able to provide : 1) The Gnumeric file you used. 2) The version of gtk you are using on your machine.
Created attachment 327859 [details] File showing the wrong layout in preview mode First, I am using gtk2 version 2.24.30 and gtk3 version 3.18.9, both on Fedora 23. Second, in the attached spreadsheet you can clearly see, that the top and bottom margins are wrong (compare preview with the page setup values in the attached file). Dieter
Hmm, with gtk 3.10.8 everything looks find.
Confirmed with gtk+-3.20, with any file when top and bottom margins are different. Things work fine in portrait mode but the values are exchanged in landscape mode.
So this seems to be a change in gtk, which means it is a gtk bug and not a Gnumeric bug. Please file it against GTK.
I see it with 2.24.30
I also do not see it with 3.10.8 (i.e., Linux Mint LTS)
Morten, when you wrote 2.24.30, did you mean 3.24.30? This problem seem to have been introduced between gtk 3.10.8 and 3.20.
Yes, I meant 3.24.30. That machine is at work.
