Description Allan Day 2016-03-04 12:03:49 UTC
friends@gnome.org receives lots of spam, which makes it difficult to monitor genuine messages going to the email address.

From what I can tell, all the spam is coming from the same domain. Here's a sample of the email addresses that it's being sent from:

english@mag2.com
0001553910_s47zb9@publisher.mag2.com
0000134134_1ms0se@publisher.mag2.com
magnews@mag2.com
wmag2autoreply@mag2.com
jimococo@mag2.com

https://infrastructure.gnome.org/browse/puppet/commit/?id=32a7fc2 should help. Let me know how it goes in the next couple of days! Feel then free to close the bug if the spam from that domain stopped!
Comment 2 Allan Day 2016-03-07 09:55:47 UTC
I'm still seeing some spam getting through. There are two senders of the latest:

mailmag@mag2tayori.com
mailmag@mag2letter.com

Both added!

Most of the mails are being blocked now; we've just had a couple through from:

mailmag@mag2-letter.com

All these mails have a different reply-to address from the sender, usually using one of the other domains that are being filtered out (the latest have 0001553910_s47zb9@publisher.mag2.com and similar, for example). It might be good to filter by reply-to as well as sender, if that's not already happening.

Blocked mag2-letter.com as well.
Comment 6 Allan Day 2016-03-16 09:12:16 UTC
One more: mag2sender.com
