GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 761308
Cant pair bluetooth keyboard/mouse in login screen.
Last modified: 2018-05-24 11:21:06 UTC
When using a bluetooth keyboard/mouse which haven't yet paired, it's impossible to log in using GDM as there is no ability to pair (at least) the keyboard. OS X seems to solve this nicely by putting up a bluetooth pairing wizard in case no input device are connected, something similar might be nice for gdm.
I also encounter this problem on my Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 which is a drawing tablet with no keyboard or mouse, only touch. I am interested in seeing some mechanism to pair and connect keyboards and mice via GDM.
