Description Nikolaus Waxweiler 2016-01-04 10:58:56 UTC
As described in https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/localize-your-font-german-capital-sharp-s.
Comment 1 Khaled Hosny 2016-02-21 14:39:36 UTC
That sounds like a bad thing to do, capitalisation is not something fonts should be messing with since it is a property of text.
Comment 2 Nikolaus Waxweiler 2016-02-21 19:35:46 UTC
Hm, I see it as a reasonable convenience. Not sure about it.
Comment 3 Khaled Hosny 2016-02-22 06:38:55 UTC
Not very reasonable IMHO, first the current German capitalisation rule is ß → SS, second users can’t easily turn this off which can be very frustrating.
