GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 759530
Export map as image in a higher resolution than the screen
Last modified: 2018-05-22 12:59:40 UTC
Exporting the map as image in a higher resolution than the screen would be very useful for creating photo book.
Could you be more specific in what you want here? We get the tiles ore rendered to libchamplain so it is hard to generate better dpi in the tiles. Or are you talking about area?
It would be very useful to get the exported image rendered in a higher resolution then it is rendered for the monitor. Isn't this some thing you need for HiDPI monitors too? Defining the area to export other then by the actual visible area on screen would be nice too. But I think this should be an other bug report.
The tiles are pre rendered. We have at the minent no control of them :( moving this to libchamplain in the meantime since that is the lib that does the tile fetching.
Why has this bug the status "NEEDINF" do you need more infos from me?
It was probably just forgotten in that state, changed to new.
