GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 754099
play a sound and send a desktop notification when writing is complete
Last modified: 2018-05-24 10:34:12 UTC
At the moment, when a user finishes writing an iso image, raw image, etc to a disk, when the progress bar reaches 100 percent, the only indication the user has that the process is finished is the progress bar disappearing. If you happen to be focused on a different window, a desktop sound (provided you have sounds turned on) and a desktop notification would help.
We're calling get_index_in_parent on all of the menu items. The menu items don't know their index in their parent, so gtk's atk implementation iterates through all of the parent's children looking for the object. O=n^2
Mike, did you leave this comment on the wrong bug?
Yes. Sorry--was being careless.
