Initial Test suite patch for evince to be integrated into continuous

As a part of the Automated Testing in Continuous, one of the components sought to be tested were evince. Some discussion went about the same during GUADEC'14 with the SoC students of the time. So as to make the tests more accessible to the developers I'd like to propose scaling them into a "make check" packaged format.
A very basic layout testing for evince was proposed for continuous here [1] (Also attached).
I understand this is depreciated and I would like to work on this and scale it to substitute for a full fledged test suite for evince.
