GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746897
Creates event on disabled calendar
Last modified: 2017-11-24 21:33:36 UTC
I have 2 calendars, one on the local machine (which I cannot seem to remove) and one on Google servers. I've disabled the local calendar in Evolution, and it doesn't appear in gnome-calendar's drop-down. But when I create a new event in gnome-calendar, by default, it creates an event on the invisible, local calendar. The event colour gives it away. It should instead have been created on the only enabled calendar, the Google one. (I also cannot change which calendar the event is on, as I only have one enabled ;) gnome-calendar-3.16.0-1.fc22.x86_64
Even when the default calendar is correctly set it is easy to create an event in the wrong calendar. Give us a way to prevent certain calendars from showing up in the "create event" dialog. My suggestion would be: - Only show non-hidden calendars by default - Maybe provide a "show all" link at the bottom
