GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 744593
Errors should be surfaced to the user with this broken video clip
Last modified: 2015-10-20 13:27:31 UTC
As soon as you set the timeline marker to a position in the clip that is already broken (after around 1/10th of the video), it cannot be moved any longer. CPU usage goes up to around 106% and stays there. File uploaded to FTP as "rapha/timeline marker freezes and load increases.mov".
This file is broken as shown by : gst-validate-1.0 playbin uri=file:///home/meh/Videos/errors.mov --set-scenario scrub_forward_seeking_full An error should be surfaced to the user when he tries to seek @ around 02:55
That sounds like bug #669180 and bug #657392 to me...
