Opening the attached file produces this error.  As requested, I am filing a bug.
(A meta-bug is that it would be helpful to provide a more direct link on how to enter a bug, or make it easier just to say "product=evince". Filing this bug was more challenging that it should have been for me as a non-regular user of gnome bugzilla.)
