Hi,

I very much like the Recent Documents view of Evince that lists my most important and most frequently used PDFs.

I think a small search function (field) could help quickly locating and opening the desired document within that window.

What do you think?

Maybe search as you type.
Comment 2 Carlos Garcia Campos 2015-01-10 10:27:54 UTC
I think it's a good idea. Search as you type is not easy to discover though.

Maybe linking to a button in the header that opens the search as you type function?

See 'Evince Search Button Mockup'.

LGTM, using symbolic icon, though. I would use the same thing than the document view.
