Hi

Using fedora 20 with gnome 3.12 from copr. The preferences window in empathy is too large (see attached screenshot).

Installed packages:

Name        : empathy
Arch        : x86_64
Version     : 3.12.1

I guess this bug --> https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738448 is a duplicate of this one. I suggested a fix for that some weeks ago. The problem was due the amount of text in some of the panels, which wasn't wrapping, thus making the window expand according to its size.

I confirm this bug.

Same problem here.

The fault is the label named "label7". Too much text.


PS: Seriously? "label7"? Not really explicit for a widget name. :(
