Description Timo Saarinen 2014-04-25 10:54:46 UTC
I keep Gnome Weather open on the secondary monitor sometimes. It would be nice, if the weather information was updated automatically.
Comment 1 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2014-12-20 21:34:32 UTC
Something like once per hour (at a randomized minute to be nice and spread the load on servers) would be sufficient and reasonable, I suspect.

Add automatic update feature

Attachment provides automatic update feature in Gnome Weather once per hour, if enabled.
Comment 3 Daniel Aleksandersen 2016-05-29 18:58:06 UTC
This would be a nice addition. Is the patch still usable? Any reasons not to include this?
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 11:00:12 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-weather/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
