Description Matthias Clasen 2014-04-11 19:13:11 UTC
Currently, we don't get pointer acceleration in wayland. libinput can already set it up (and eg weston _has_ pointer acceleration). So, what needs to happen here is that mutter should read the settings that the control-center sets, and apply them.

This also apply to touchpad settings ... it is just not useable the way it is.

I cannot find any API in libinput to set any configuration ... we need an API to set acceleration and touchpad settings (clicks, scrolling) ... neither seems to be possible.

The configuration API is being worked on, but is not yet done.

OK the "libinput can already set it up" somehow made me believe it is already there.
