GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 727198
Color incompatibility of xpm loader with libXpm
Last modified: 2018-05-22 13:15:56 UTC
The patch from https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=678996 changed some color names from the traditional X11 color chart to the W3C standard. For example, the "green" color was changed. Read more information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X11_color_names Thus, some colors, displayed by the gdk-pixbuf xpm loader and the libXpm differ. It is reasonable to use the X11 colors (e.g. as defined in libXpm/rgbtab.h) for xpm-color-table.h.
Do you have an example file where this causes problems? xpm files aren't as easy to come by as in the 90's...
