Description Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2014-01-03 05:49:23 UTC
libcanberra was moved into being a sysdep during the 3.10 cycle. It's a pretty annoying thing to have as a sysdep, however, due to the extremely large number of (GNOME) dependencies that it has (mostly due to pulling in gtk -- you are forced to have an entire system gtk stack installed).

If we made it an optional sysdep and allowed building it inside jhbuild it could depend on jhbuild's copy of the entire stack instead.
