GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 721038
Missing printer options in printing dialog
Last modified: 2018-05-24 14:14:15 UTC
Created attachment 264882 [details] Print dialog in Mozilla Firefox When the print action is selected, in the "Page Setup" tab some options appear to be missing for some parameters. In my specific case, not all available paper sources are listed (even though available in the driver), thus preventing their use. In attachment two images that show the printing dialog in Firefox and in GIMP for the same printer. You will notice that 3 options are missing in GIMP.

Please paste the output of gimp --version --verbose, and figure what GTK+ version firefox uses.
GNU Image Manipulation Program version 2.8.10 git-describe: GIMP_2_8_8-55-g9bb7eb0 using GEGL version 0.2.0 (compiled against version 0.2.0) using GLib version 2.38.2 (compiled against version 2.38.2) using GdkPixbuf version 2.30.3 (compiled against version 2.30.1) using GTK+ version 2.24.22 (compiled against version 2.24.22) using Pango version 1.36.1 (compiled against version 1.36.1) using Fontconfig version 2.11.0 (compiled against version 2.11.0) using Cairo version 1.13.1 (compiled against version 1.13.1) GTK used by FF should be 2.24.22 in Fedora 20
Thanks.
Does this still happen in 2.8.14?
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you: yes, it does!
I get the same inconsistent behavior across a number of apps. I wonder where these paper sizes are coming from.
