GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 720521
[album view] enlarge scroll area
Last modified: 2018-01-10 14:37:19 UTC
Created attachment 264277 [details] screenshot showing pointer unable to scroll when displaying an album with the tracklist, there is a scrollbar if the list is too long, but i'm unable to scroll from the touchpad unless the pointer is directly above the list. See attached screenshot, where the pointer is, I cannot scroll; I need to move the pointer to the left. I would expect to be able to scroll there. I actually thought I was completely unable to scroll until I realised I needed to be on the list itself (but I expect most other users to be confused by this).
Created attachment 264278 [details] the previous screen did not show the pointer, sorry!
I agree that it would be better if you could use the scrollwheel with the pointer over any part of the album view. At the very least, the scrolled area should extend to the top/bottom/right of the album area. It would be helpful to hear if either of these fixes are feasible with GTK+.
For information, scrollarea works with mouse wheel but not when using touchpad scrolling...
Removing the available whiteboard - we're not really using it any more.
Need to figure out if this is possible.
