GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 717587
sidebar context menus -> New Search
Last modified: 2013-05-01 06:39:00 UTC
---- Reported by adam@yorba.org 2011-04-20 12:49:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 3529 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/3529 Searchable id: yorba-bug-3529 Original author: Adam Dingle Original description: The New Search command is a little hard to discover since it lives in the middle of the hefty View menu. I think we should add two new context menus to the sidebar: 1. If the user has already created one or more searches, then they should be able to right click on Saved Searches in the sidebar to see a context menu with a single item New Search. 2. If the user right clicks on an empty area of the sidebar (below the last item), let's also show a context menu with a single item New Search. We may add more items to this context menu later on. ---- Additional Comments From shotwell-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-05-01 11:39:00 -0700 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Adam Dingle over 2 years ago * **Tracker** changed from _Bug_ to _Feature_ #### #2 Updated by Eric Gregory over 2 years ago This ticket now refers only to item 1.
