GTK+ uses this property for CSD support so that shadows and invisible borders are not considered part of the actual window frame.

Seems to work mostly fine in my testing. One issue I could spot is that initial placement doesn't take the frame extents into account - the window gets placed 'floating' a short distance from the top left corner.
