Description Stefan Momita 2013-05-04 08:13:28 UTC
Clearing the chat window only (very) briefly discards its contents. The 5 most recent messages (which had not been visible) are retrieved from the logs and re-printed.

The issue appears to be a consequence of commit 027ccda384645f67a2d209d023c5d324d7f15715 .

Clearning the chat window doesn't trigger a log fetch here. How is your window looking before the clearing?

Please have a look at the attached recording. Empathy 3.8.2-1 on (arch) Linux x86_64.
Comment 5 Cameron Matheson 2013-09-18 08:21:03 UTC
This is a problem for me as well (also running arch x86_64)
