GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 696607
Favourite icon is very obtrusive
Last modified: 2013-04-22 09:33:00 UTC
Downstream bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=924312 When favouriting a photo, the heart icon which appears on top is too big, and not transparent, which hides a big chunk of the picture.
This should be better in 3.8.0. Can you try it?
Indeed, it is much less intrusive. Maybe a bit too small now? I don't know if it matters though, given that there is a dedicated view to access favourite pictures. However, it doesn't hide one third of the picture any more, which is definitely a huge improvement. :)
Jimmac wanted them to be small. I am closing this because the major issue highlighted in this bug has been solved. Feel free to open new bugs if you want to further fine tune the emblems. eg., I can see that their position on the picture might need some tuning because the checkboxes in selection mode occlude the emblems.
