Description Clemens Eisserer 2012-12-29 12:49:57 UTC
I do not use the "recently used" places function at all - yet for many applications it is selected by default (and even got backported to GTK2).

Maybe the "recently used" feature makes more sence when using the GNOME desktop environment, however I am using XFCE and for my useage pattern, having the home directory selected by default would be much more viable. Furthermore it would reduce the number of unnecessary clicks required to perform a file action.

It would be great if the "recently used" feature could be permanently turned off by an option in the gtk-rc config file.
