GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 690367
Notifications for adding and removing printers are unnecessary
Last modified: 2019-03-20 11:06:17 UTC
If I add or remove a printer, a notification is displayed informing me when the operation has completed. Typically, I am looking at the settings window when this happens, so the notification isn't necessary - I can already see what has happened. Perhaps it would be useful to show the notification if the printer settings aren't focused, though.
The notification are coming from gnome-settings-daemon
