Description Sergio Villar 2012-07-03 12:11:08 UTC
My laptop does not have any kind of optical media tray, but grilo shows it in the list of media with Jamendo, Blip.tv or the Upnp servers. Is it possible to remove it in this case?

You don't need to have a physical DVD: if you have a DVD stored in your laptop as ISO image, and you mount it, it will be listed in the plugin

I understand but that isn't the case either.

To hide it, Rhythmbox should check if there are elements, and if not then not exposing it to user.
Comment 4 Jonathan Matthew 2012-07-05 22:22:11 UTC
Rhythmbox shouldn't show optical media (or blip.tv) at all.

Fixed in commit ca6523b.

I guess rhythmbox uses its own stuff to handle audio CDs...
