Description benjamin 2012-01-25 16:01:04 UTC
Hello,

I have Banshee 2.2.1 on Xubuntu 11.10. When iconifying Banshee, there is no icon showing in any indicator applet of XFCE's panel.

Thanks.
B.

Why do you consider this a bug in Banshee's upstream code? Did you file a bug report in (X)Ubuntu's bugtracker (if yes: which bug number?) and were you asked to upstream it to GNOME Bugzilla?
Comment 2 benjamin 2012-01-26 11:42:54 UTC
I have mentioned this bug in http://askubuntu.com/questions/98453/banshee-intergration-with-xubuntu which referred me to here.

If the decision to report it here was wrong, I'll take the blame for that. benjamin, could you attach the output of running Banshee from Terminal with debugging turned on? More information on how to do that can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/Banshee/CommonQuestions/Logs

As requested.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
