Description tbruff13 2011-12-23 05:16:03 UTC
I know I have filed a bug report with a similar subject in the past, and it was determined that the bug was the fault of AMD. The only reason I disagree is because of the fact that the new ATI driver works in all desktop environments other then Gnome 3. There must be an issue in Gnome 3 somewhere. Can someone at least tell me what (code wise) makes Gnome 3 treat graphics any differently then lets say KDE, so that I can email AMD with a little bit of help. I am doing the best to work with the Mint community and with you guys to fix these issues. If you could be so kind as to take the time to help me identify the issue that is causing these graphics bugs. Then you guys (or AMD) whichever is the responsible party could figure out a fix. The bugs are simple terminal slants in a weird way and there is weird slanting in Chromium and many other programs.

Please add further comments to the original bug report instead of opening a new one, as filing another ticket does not speed up the process. Thanks for your understanding!
