Description Martin Erik Werner 2011-11-30 00:44:13 UTC
Peeve:
When scrolling in the app icon display, the movement is very "step-ish", thus it becomes quite hard to follow the movement with your eyes - the view is replaced with a new set of icons without any obvious transition from the previous set of icons.

Suggestion:
Add a small degree of smooth scrolling to the app display. This would improve the ability to follow the movement of scrolling through icons.

I'm guessing caution has to be taken to not overdo smooth scrolling though, since too much smooth may come across as sluggish.

Just to clarify: This is regarding scrolling with the mouse wheel (arguably the most common method, at the moment...)
