Description Mehmet Giritli 2011-08-21 08:50:05 UTC
If you want to rip some multi-disc set, e.g. 10 songs on disc 1 and 20 songs on disc two, any one of the two discs is listed as 30 song single disc and no disc number is retrieved either.

The extra tracks that are not in the disc (but in the other members of the set) are all ripped as the copies of the first track of the current disc.

Expected behaviour is to recognise each disc separately with the disc number.

Rhythmbox gets it right except filling in the disc number.

Have you tested rhythmbox recently? This bug is caused by a change of behaviour of musicbrainz servers, so both sound-juicer and rhythmbox should be broken the same way. This is dealt with in bug #652972

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 652972 ***

Yes, 0.13.3 gets it right. I just tested with different multiple disc sets too. It got them all right. But no disc nr retrieved. Don't know if thats a bug too or just a lack of feature.

Ok, sorry for the wrong info above. RB does not get it right. But unlike SJ, it does not list all tracks in the complete set. Thats the difference that got me confused.
