Might be useful and easy to create such a backend to browse areas other then a sdcard. Much like the synce backend.

Can't this be accomplished with the MTP backend? Anyway, feel free to write one and submit it for review. There's adbFS already, not sure if it's worth writing a separate gvfs backend with limited user target.
