Description or 2011-04-15 13:46:18 UTC
I'm running netbeans (which is written in java), and when I open a menu (clicking on it), it's getting unfocused. also when I managed to keep the menu open, the mouse position is not coherent with the menu item that is focused

hm... works fine for me on Fedora 15. Is it all menus? I tried both the menubar, and some submenus from there, and some right-click menus, and all seemed fine.

I'm using the beta of ubuntu 11.04 natty narwhal... I've just noticed that the bug only happens when the netbeans window is "maximized".

netbeans is clearly doing one or more totally broken things

even under metacity, if you just press (and hold) on a menu, and then move back and forth across the menu bar (ie, scanning the menus), it will eventually get stuck and stop responding to the mouse.
