Patched output

The page located at http://www.gimp.org/downloads does pass as valid markup according to: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.gimp.org/downloads/&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0&user-agent=W3C_Validator/1.2

This may be the cause of this page not rendering as intended in IE7. The current rendering hides the GIMP for Windows link under the header image. The irony of this is overwhelming.

I have added an attachment showing the changes I did to make the output valid xhtml.

This should fix the validation errors; not sure if anything changes for IE7 once it encounters valid XHTML.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

The download page for Windows users shows up correctly now in IE9.
Hgtonight or Bugsquad, can you close this bug as RESOLVED FIXED, please?
Thank you!
