Hello!  Unless I missed something, there isn't code to set the web & mail combo boxes in the default-applications UI to the current default on startup.

Here's a patch to do so.  It doesn't update the combo boxes if the default changes due to some other application changing it, but only because the GAppInfo API doesn't seem to offer such a signal.

This has been massively cleaned up in GNOME 3, and should work as expected. See the "Default applications" section in the Info panel.
