Patterns like the one at http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/archives/143-Creating-and-Adding-Custom-Patterns-to-Inkscape.html fail to render properly in librsvg: the pattern gets clipped to a box so that adjacent pattern elements can't overlap.

This pattern renders properly in Inkscape, but not in rsvg-view.  The subsequent tiles overwrite the previous tiles, even though they are supposed to be transparent.
