GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 636437
svg patters clip to boxes
Last modified: 2017-12-13 17:44:54 UTC
Patterns like the one at http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/archives/143-Creating-and-Adding-Custom-Patterns-to-Inkscape.html fail to render properly in librsvg: the pattern gets clipped to a box so that adjacent pattern elements can't overlap.
Please attach a sample file that's as simple as possible to show the bug.
Created attachment 175842 [details] This pattern renders properly in Inkscape, but not in rsvg-view. This pattern renders properly in Inkscape, but not in rsvg-view. The subsequent tiles overwrite the previous tiles, even though they are supposed to be transparent.
