This is a cross post from gentoo:

The resume from suspend mode work fine then the "lock screen"
checkbox is not enabled, however the screen reminds black with it enabled.

As a workaround and PoC it's possible login blindly and enter the following command:
xgamma -display :0.0 -gamma 1

The issue does show up on my system (I’m one of the original reporters on Gentoo), so I can help track and nail it down, with some guidance.

I dont know but maybe between 2.30 and 2.32 this problem is fixes....

The reproducing is not straightforward. I've experienced it once in 4 days and can't find what should be the sequence.

Here is what captured in the log (looks not related):

Guys, we can't reproduce the bug any longer.
I'm closing it for now.
