debug log from the above session

I try to import a clip. I select the file from the file chooser, confirm it an get the error message in the application window: "An error occurred while importing". A click on the blue 'i' pops up a window:

"The following file cannot be used with PiTiVi
101017_1530.mkv
URI:101017_1530.mkv
Problem:Pipeline didn't want to go to PAUSED."

This is what ffmpeg says about the file:
Input #0, matroska,webm, from 'digicam/uncut/101017_1530.mkv':
  Duration: 00:05:26.54, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 256 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 1920x1080 [PAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 25 fps, 50 tbr, 1k tbn, 50 tbc
    Stream #0.1: Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, stereo, s16, 256 kb/s

This is most likely fixed in 0.13.5. Can you try with the new release or with pitivi git?
Comment 2 Stefan Sassenberg 2010-11-16 21:40:34 UTC
With 0.13.5 some files work, some don't. While playing with pitivi I can hardly press three buttons without errors, so I think I try it on a mailing list first.
