GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 630381
GdaBrowser Schema Index view
Last modified: 2018-09-21 13:41:36 UTC
When GdaBrowser open, schema perspective and table index is shown, but the way the tables are shown as "words" with different font size and style, is useless. A list of tables, row per table, could be better.
If we put a table with one row per table, this would waste a lot of space. Do you have any mockup for your idea?
Daniel, ping, can you please respond to comment#1 ?
Created attachment 201017 [details] TableBrowser Widget mockup This is a mockup for a, may be, GdauiTableBrowser widget. As you can see, the browser classify tables by schema (if any), may expanding the default one. You can see just the table's name and its primary key. May other information could be available, enable by properties: a) Rows number b) Columns number c) External references The last two are to complex to show in a row, but a button to show a dialog, may containing a widget, that show all this information. Or just switch to the actual tab. Enable one-click activation is much better than use double-click.
