GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 625984
add_borders exception not handled
Last modified: 2010-09-06 08:56:46 UTC
This happens now when I create a blank project and insert a clip in the timeline: Traceback (most recent call last):
+ Trace 223101
source = timeline.addSourceFactory(factory)
track.addTrackObject(track_object)
track_object.makeBin()
bin = self.factory.makeBin(self.stream)
bin = self._makeBin(compatible_stream)
return self._makeStreamBin(output_stream)
b.scale.props.add_borders = True
This is because we depend on a videoscale feature in git. We should either: * require git -base * or put a try/except around that line and people using git pitivi with released -base will have broken scaling
In order to make a new release for upcoming karmik, we should just put a try/except around setting the properties and too bad for those won don't have the proper videoscale.
commit 9d62474e7dc374a5ca8a77cfa448f7e415922c76 Author: Edward Hervey <bilboed@bilboed.com> Date: Sun Sep 5 11:10:15 2010 +0200 factories: Gracefully handle lack of videoscal::add-borders We'll add this to the "known bugs" section of the upcoming release for people who don't have recent enough -base.
