Description Jacob Sparre Andersen 2001-10-06 16:14:00 UTC
It would be very nice (and spare me a bit of "manual"
labour), if Gnumeric could generate a dataflow diagram
with "boxes" and arrows indicating how data flows
through a spreadsheet.

A few rather specific suggestions for this:

 * Use cell names a labels on the boxes.
 * Reuse the font and colour settings of the cells in
   the "boxes".
 * Use different shapes for the "boxes" depending on
which spreadsheet in the workbook the cell is located
   on.

This is a nice idea. We support selecting the inputs of an expression, but
nothing that generates a diagram. Hopefully one day someone will have time.
It would not be difficult.
