Description John 2010-04-17 16:02:19 UTC
Hello guys,

I regularly (almost daily) have to export a plot as an image (PNG).
As this is always from the same spreadsheet, the filename already
appears in the save dialog, but the file-type resets to the default SVG.

This is an extra step, which is prone to be forgotten ;-)

I'd like to suggest either:

- Set a (default) option 'from extension' in the type dropdown
  (such as in GIMP)

- Remember the last selected type (together with the last filename
  which _is_ remembered.

- Just set the filetype to match the last filename's extension

Thanks for all the good work!

John

That might also apply when saving workbooks.
