GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 613737
png/svg image previews in cgit
Last modified: 2010-03-25 15:05:31 UTC
can we please have image previews in the cgit web interface? when i click an image file now it will either show me a hex dump of the file or he svg markup. I wish I could parse that in my mind as fast as my computer but I can't. :) As an art contributer to GNOME this is really slowing me down. I don't want to do a git checkout a repo just to take a look at the image. It's also not helpful when I want reference an icon to someone else. Thanks!
I've ran into this on several occasions as well.
If cgit is able to do so, give me a guide and I'll look into it. Nothing has been disabled in the config related to this, so if it supports this, then it should be working. AFAIK we use the latest version.

AFAIK we use the latest version. I don't know if it can. The only thing I see when I search cgit it is a git repo... But if it can display a dump of the file it should be to just view the file right?
Changed cgitrc in puppet
Woohoo! Works great, hitting the "Plain" link works for both svg's and png's now!
awesome. thanks Olav!
Joining in on the praise. Thanks a lot!
