It would be awesome if Pitivi could normalize audio clips, so that the resulting video would have an even sound level (aside from the manual volume editing in the timeline).

Gstreamer already provides the 'replaygain' plugins, rganalysis, rgvolume, and rglimiter, which could be used to implement this.

People might also want to be able to use this on a per-clip basis, although I'm not as sure about that.
