Description Stuart Langridge 2010-02-19 13:21:53 UTC
If I have the same Python plugin in /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/foo and ~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/plugins/foo, the system-level one is loaded. This should not be the case; the "local" level plugin in ~ should override the system plugin in /usr/lib.

IRC snippet:

<aquarius> right, system package removed, local plugin now loads.
So, I do believe that system-level plugins override local-level plugins.
so if that's not meant to happen, I think it's a bug :)
<moch> indeed
it may be worse than that.. I think it might work properly for compiled plugins, but not python plugins
