Description Brian J. Murrell 2009-11-23 14:12:11 UTC
Unfortunately, the gnome panel crashes. It's a sad fact but a fact none-the-less.

What is even more unfortunate is that when the panel is restarted by gnome-session, everything on it is restored except the banshee icon. I wonder what could be learned from other panel icons to enable the banshee icon to be restored when the panel is restarted.

Bug 529023 produces this bug by removing and re-adding the notification area panel applet, but the panel crashing has essentially the same effect, so I marked this bug as a duplicate of that one.
