Hi!

I like the idea if empathy supports white- and blacklists.
If i spin the idea a little bit further so it will be cool if you have a status option "visible only for whitelist user".

Blacklist user should never be able to check/see your status.

Thanks, BB.  Note to developers: this is a slightly different request than that in bug# 551911 .  The Buddy List might include people who are not on the whitelist for this purpose.
