Description Carlos Barrueto 2009-10-19 12:08:49 UTC
When surfing on an smb share which lies in a xp machine, while right clicking on a folder and selecting Properties, it reports a false/wrong folder size. Compared to the actual folder size after copying to my computer.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus
NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia
Package: nautilus 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu2
ProcEnviron:
LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: nautilus
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-15-generic i686
Comment 1 Nikolay Martynov 2011-03-15 04:58:24 UTC
This happens because libsmb generates same inode numbers for different files. I've submitted bugreport with patch to theirs bugzilla: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8010

Thanks for the information! I guess this can be closed as NOTGNOME then.
